Your privacy is important to MyProCoach. We developed this privacy policy to inform you as to how we look after your personal data, in particular how we collect, use, share and store your personal data when you use the myprocoach.net website, support pages and training plans. We also want to tell you about your privacy rights and how the law protects you.
Personal data, or personal information, means any information about an individual from which that person can be identified. It does not include data where the identity has been removed (anonymous data).

We keep our privacy policy under regular review. It is important that the personal data we hold about you is accurate and current. Please keep us informed if your personal data changes during your relationship with us.

How We Collect Your Personal Information
We engage in only a small amount of data collection/data processing activities since we use third-party online software called “TrainingPeaks” to publish and sell our training plans. TrainingPeaks have their own Privacy Policy that you can view here. We do not accept any responsibility or liability for TrainingPeaks’ privacy policy or their treatment of your personal data.
Only your basic personal data, such as name and email address, will be processed by MyProCoach. We do not routinely collect special categories of personal data.
Your personal data may come into our possession in a number of ways, such as:
- When using the TrainingPeaks LLC website, and you tick a box to opt in, TrainingPeaks LLC send us an email address and name of people who buy our training plans from the Training Peaks LLC online store.
- We collect the email addresses of people who subscribe to our training tips newsletter.
- Through your subscription to our service called Unlimited Athlete, you will enter payment details on our website using the Stripe payment system, however, these details will not be stored by us, but by Stripe.
- We receive email questions from current and potential customers. We answer the emails, but do not use the email addresses for any other purpose.
- When our coaches reply to your email requests for help, they may ask questions about your training history, upcoming races, and other relevant questions to answer your request. We do not use these emails for any other purpose.
What We Use Your Personal Information For
- We will use your email address for sending you email “onboarding tips” on how to use your new training plan effectively.
- We will use your email address to send you a training tips blog article on a weekly basis.
- We will use your email address to send you occasional discount offers for our services.
- We use pixels to highlight sales trends, based on our Facebook, Google and Instagram advertising campaigns.
- We use information about sales trends, to help guide our advertising, track sales and decide on future products to create.
How Long We Keep Your Personal Information
We will only retain your personal data for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for. We may retain your personal data for a longer period in the event of a complaint or if we reasonably believe there is a prospect of litigation in respect to our relationship with you.
To determine the appropriate retention period for personal data, we consider the amount, nature and sensitivity of the personal data, the potential risk of harm from unauthorised use or disclosure of your personal data, the purposes for which we process your personal data and whether we can achieve those purposes through other means, and the applicable legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, and other requirements.
Who We Share Your Personal Information With
We use third party administrative products, such as MailerLite, Zendesk and Outlook for email and support. For our advertising, we use Facebook, Google Adwords and Google Analytics.
How You Can Review, Correct, Update and Delete Your Personal Information
MyProCoach takes reasonable steps to help ensure that the Personal Information we collect from you is accurate, complete and current. You may request access to your Personal Information and request that erroneous or inaccurate Personal Information be updated. You may also request that your Personal Information be deleted.
MyProCoach will respond promptly to your requests in accordance with applicable law. For your protection, we may only implement requests with respect to the Personal Information associated with the particular email address that you use to send us your request, and we may need to verify your identity before implementing your request. We may decline to process requests that jeopardize the privacy of others, are extremely impractical, or would cause us to take any action that is not permissible under applicable laws. Additionally, as permitted by applicable laws, we may need to retain certain Personal Information for a longer period of time for recordkeeping purposes, such as retaining records relating to your purchases for warranty or accounting purposes.
