I can't say enough how it has helped me not only physically, but even from a mental standpoint not having to try and figure out what to do and when. Having been a lifelong runner, and training on my own, it has been an amazing transformation. I had a 2nd place finish in a gruelling 1/2 Marathon in Glacier National Park (vacationraces.com) last year and then beat my time from last year at a local 1/2 marathon (Birmingham Mercedes) that I have run for 20 years by nearly 8 minutes and also scored a personal best by 2 1/2 minutes @ 1:41 at the ripe old age of 56. After Weymouth 70.3 I recently finished Ironman Portugal and somehow managed to win my age group and qualify for Kona. Really unexpected but I couldn’t have done any of it without your training plan. I think I did the Advanced IRONMAN 140.6 18 week plan which I found really great - a really coherent and simple way to get into triathlon particularly for someone like me who did their first triathlon at the end of August this year.
