Enriching experience. The master's long-distance programme from MPC worked really well for me.
It has taken me 5 years to get here. COVID cancelling year 1, floods cancelling year 2 and a bike crash just weeks before year 3 attempt to get to the start line, 2 surgeries later and out of training for almost a year, so missing year 4.
Year 5 had to be the year I did it!

I grabbed free IM training plans off the web for my first few attempts. I thought they were OK, but never felt truly ready leading up to race day.

Excellent Training Program I've used this program twice now - first for the 1/2 marathon where I beat my previous time by 5 minutes and second for my 1st marathon. This program set me up so well to be able to not only finish the marathon, but also to do it in a way that I was able to speed up at the end. The best plan for a busy scheduled, best support and easily hit your PBs Absolutely the best plan and the best support. I used the beginner 16-week plan and I destroyed my target time. I started with a 5km of 42:34 before the plan and finished the half marathon with a PB of 1:57:00 which is an insane improvement.

The runs were very nicely distributed in my busy schedule and helped me stay on track. The speed runs were fun and were just the right length.

The support was fantastic through my dumb beginner questions and anxiety-ridden SOS emails. They always replied within a reasonable time frame and helped me through the journey.

Plans that meet you where you are Can't say enough about these plans. Love that they meet you where you are, and tailor the workouts to your current level of fitness. It has shown me I can be a competitive triathlete in my 40s but take the long view and not stress about missed workouts due to work, family, illness, or vacation. Great overall fitness training for Ironman, but unresolved cramps during run After following your advanced Ironman program I felt strong going into race day I was in great physical shape. I also religiously followed the nutrition and hydration plans and thought I was in for a great result. Did great on the swim, just above average on the bike (more because of the headwinds, than fitness), but almost a complete fail on the run because of leg cramps starting at mile 2 and lasting until mile 23. Great TP! I can honestly say that the training plans really prepare you for the event. They are very structured, which allowed me to plan my weeks realistically. It breaks down every sport and work out session in a detailed manner.

By following the plan, I did amazing on the swim and the bike. Sadly, I DNFd on the run due to horrible GI issues that started mid-way on the bike... but my muscles felt amazing to continue going. I look forward to continue training using these plans to continue being better and hopefully do even more amazing next time around!

Absolutely the best support, plans, flexibility and RESULTS 18 months ago I returned to IM training (post-injury) and chose MyProCoach, initially for the ease of the online platform for accessing training plans, and have discovered there is SO much more. My Coach, Kelly Watts, has guided me successfully through a total restart with excellent plans, encouragement and advice where needed. The ability to adjust plans to suit multiple events across the year is superb, and by following the recommended zones for sessions I am seeing continuous improvements and have stayed injury-free!

35KM Race felt like just another training session! I purchased Phil's intermediate marathon training plan and I can confidently say that this is by far the best training plan I have ever followed. The game changer for me is the pace guidelines for each workout based on the data that I inputted from my fitness tests every month. In the past, I tended to "overtrain" and this plan really taught me to stay disciplined and trust the process. MyProCoach is a great tool IRONMAN 70.3 Peru was a great race.
Last year I did Hawaii and now Lima, I improved my time by about 30 min.
Definitely, MyProCoach is a great tool and a great platform, it allows me to follow the right training to achieve my results and cross the line to be an IronMan 70.3 Finisher.

Flexible, Challenging, and Achievable Plans for All This is the 2nd year I've worked through the Fitness Maintenance for Sprint Tri 16-week program.
I've found the structure and flexibility of the program to be very compatible with some of the unpredictability in my life while still helping me stay fit before ramping up to the training I'll do for the sprint tri later this Summer.
The variety of the programs offered by MyProCoach is great, allowing older athletes like me to choose achievable plans that motivate and support reaching my goals.

Training Tailored For Any Age Group and Helpful TIps Thank you for all your help and advice. I find the little training tips Phil puts up really help. I get very anxious before a race so l watched all the pre race advice and found that soothed my nerves. He has good hints. Planning Your Off-Season

You can start our Off-Season (Fitness Maintenance) plans anytime you like.

They’re designed to help you maintain a good level of fitness when you’re not specifically targeting an event, such as, during the off-season, or anytime you’re taking a break from racing.

Planning For Your Event

For the best outcome, input the date for your “A” target race and the tool will default to a plan that will fill that gap nicely. If you want, you can then adjust the plan length to start it on a different day.

Note that you can still work in other, smaller races during your plan too!

The longer plans start easier and progress more gradually. This has a bearing on the difficulty level you choose. For example, a 12-week plan starts off at a higher level than a 36-week plan because with 12 weeks left there’s not as much opportunity to build up slowly.
